Three exciting new young independent acts have just been given a huge launching pad for their careers by being signed to a ‘single only’ deal with Major Label, General Pants Co’s record label which launched earlier this year. Already being closely watched by the likes of Triple J and national community radio stations, this signing will give these three acts the opportunity to take the next step forward in their respective careers.

STEP-PANTHER
Step-Panther are a spirited surf-rock ‘n’ post-punk trio from Sydney who all met through working together. Their debut EP Surf received rave reviews and they were recently handpicked by Triple J’s Home & Hosed to open the Come Together Festival at Luna Park.

THE KREMLIN SUCCESSION
Since forming just over six months ago, The Kremlin Succession has managed to cause a ruckus in Melbourne during their short life, blowing indie electro pop acts off stage with their Garage/Psych/Rock n Roll antics as well as playing with the likes of Money For Rope, The Bowers, Boarders, Big Smoke and The Swiftones amongst others. The Kremlin Succession were recently the finalists in the Community Cup’s Free Kick competition (a Melbourne institution).

THE HARRY HEART CHRYSALIS
The Harry Hart Chrysalis is a name for the solo works of Harry Ward, singer and guitarist of Arcade Made and drummer of Penguin Kings. This 17 year old school student’s influences range from Wolf Parade to Bon Iver. For such a young singer songwriter, Harry crafts some very interesting music – far beyond his years.
